Job Description:
You will need to be value driven, with a passion for leading an organisation which supports the Voluntary, Community and Social Enterprise sector (VCSE) based on experience of leading an organisation as it develops and builds capacity – generating significant financial growth with measurable results.
Catalyst Stockton-on-Tees offers you the opportunity to demonstrate these skills and attributes.
We are a registered charity with a supportive and highly skilled Board of Trustees determined to provide effective support for the VCSE in the area. As Chief Executive Officer you must have the skills and experience to lead the dedicated, professional staff and volunteers in developing our services based on the needs of the sector, fulfilling the requirements of core funding from SBC (secured until 2024), but actively seeking other opportunities for partnership work with the statutory, private and other VCSE organisations.
The successful candidate will combine strategic and operational skills. Be strongly motivated with knowledge of effective leadership and management gained by leading organisations to achieve organisational objectives – including managing change in this sector. Able to motivate and encourage staff and volunteers to innovate in these challenging times for the VCSE sector.
Educated to degree level in a relevant subject with a management qualification and experience. You will require a DBS check and have a clean driving licence with access to a car.
