The Office of the Police and Crime Commissioner and Middlesbrough Council currently fund The Halo Project to provide advice and support to victims of Honour Based Violence (HBV), Forced Marriage (FM) and Female Genital Mutilation (FGM).

The contract is due to expire at the end of this financial year, so at the moment they are seeking views on the service and on BAME community needs to inform the development of a new service specification to go out to tender, with the new service commencing on 1 April 2021. They are therefore seeking the views of our BAME communities and of professionals who support BAME communities to ensure that the service meets the needs of those it is for.

They have two online surveys, one for community members to complete and one for agencies (see below links). The deadline for completing the surveys is Friday 28th August.
