Catalyst has obtained funding for the production of food parcels for those affected by the COVID pandemic.
Specifically, we have:
- £13,500 from the national lottery for food parcels (at £10 each) to help people affected by COVID. This needs to be spent by end of February
- £5678 from a GoFundMe campaign aimed at providing food for emergency food banks.
The demand for funding for COVID-related food supplies seems to have reduced quite a lot since the lottery bid went in, in May. However, during the Food Power Network meeting held 11th September there was still a lot of interest shown.
If you would like to use this funding in Stockton-on-Tees, please email: enquiries@catalyststockton.org detailing the following information:
- An outline of how the money would be used
- How much money you need
- How many food parcels (at £10 each) this would be equivalent to
If we receive expressions of interest totalling less than £19,200, all information that has been asked for will be supported. If the total is more than that, we may have to reduce the allocations by a proportionate amount.
