We are delighted to announce that applications for the 2022 HAF programme are now live!
The Holiday Activities and Food Programme (HAF), funded by the Department of Education, offers free activities over the school holidays for children who are receiving benefits-related Free School Meals. All children who attend will be given the chance to engage in enriching activities that they may not get to experience otherwise. All children that attend will also be given a high quality, nutritious meal that meets the School Food Standards.
There have been major changes to the HAF application process as we have now moved onto an online system. The application process has also now merged to include the entire year instead of a separate application for each holiday. The merged application does not mean that providers are obliged to apply for all holidays if they do not wish to and applying for one holiday will not effect the decision-making process in any way.
We welcome applications from organisations in the VCSE and public sector and we look forward to receiving applications in the coming weeks.
Below you can find the application form and guidance notes, we strongly urge providers to read the Guidance Notes before submitting their application.
