Vision25 is an exciting new not-for-profit organisation in Stockton offering a meaningful option for young people with disabilities, age 19 and over. Aims for their members are:- promoting independence via a life skills programme, fully integrating their members into the community to promote social inclusion and for them to experience volunteering to gain valuable work skills.
The company has two directors who are special needs teachers working in a Stockton Academy. They currently run a Saturday club at the Elmwood Centre, Hartburn, which has been very successful and are expanding the service to Mondays and Tuesdays as of September 2017. They are also actively seeking funding for various projects chosen by their members and have already secured £11,000.
