Stockton Men’s Shed in Thornaby is run by Groundwork North East. They have a community allotment that offers men aged 18+ a friendly place to develop their skills in outdoor activities, such as gardening, conservation or construction and meet like minded people.

The aim of this project is to reduce isolation in males and improve mental health. Participants are welcome to come down regardless of skill, they can even just come down for a cup of tea if they like, there is no obligation to actually take part in any work on the sessions. GroundWork will provide all of the equipment tools and materials. Refreshments will be provided also!
