Voice Forum Background
Providing a forum for organisations in Stockton to come together and talk about the issues that matter.
Stockton Voice project provides the voluntary and community sector in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees with an opportunity to influence decisions on policy and services in their area, and helps to identify assets and skills within communities that can be used to tackle issues in a positive way.
It does this through supporting the Voice Forum, organising Task & Finish Groups, providing information direct to the sector and providing a channel through which any organisation can have its voice heard.
Stockton Voice is important as it provides the opportunity to develop real action for the benefit of the community. Regardless of whether you are a small or large organisation or even an individual, Stockton Voice offers an opportunity to be heard on the issues that really matter to you and your service users.
How can you get involved?
Any member of the community can attend Voice events or participate in our discussions. If you want to represent your local community on a decision making Board then you need to be nominated by a voluntary or community sector organisation (such as a local Residents Association).
We are keen that no matter what your interest is or which part of the community you are from your voice is heard! If you are interested in getting involved or would simply like more information please contact James Hadman, Stockton Voice Officer, on 01642 733908 or e-mail email@example.com.
