Hartlepool and Stockton-on-Tees are using the Signs of Safety Framework in child protection work.
This is an innovative way of working which is being increasingly recognised as good practice by Ofsted. The Signs of Safety model seeks to enable parents/carers to increase their understanding of and take a lead in identifying what is needed for them to make positive changes to enable them to effectively care for their children. This course is vital to ALL frontline practitioners in the children’s workforce
