Norton Glebe Community Centre’s newly refurbished kitchen, funded by National Lottery Awards for All, was officially opened on Saturday 14 July.

The kitchen was opened by Councillor Bob Cook, Leader of Stockton Borough Council, before he gave the opening address at Norton Glebe Residents Association’s (NGRA) Annual General Meeting.

The NGRA successfully achieved the Lottery funding following an application earlier this year.  The £9,950 grant was for the Norton Community Centre Kitchen Project, in recognition of the quality of work undertaken in the local community.
