The funding from the Department for Education managed by Stockton Borough Council, with Catalyst contracting and supporting providers with the Summer HAF 2021 holiday activities and food programme during school holidays is providing children an opportunity to take part in engaging and enriching activities, make friends and be active and healthy.

It has been evidenced that children make better progress on their return to school if they have engaged in a holiday program, and with parents juggling the rising costs of food, childcare, transport, and increased reduced incomes since covid this funding is essential to ensure every child has the best opportunity for an enriching activity with nutritious food during the Summer Holidays.
