The Warm Homes Fund (WHF) offers free first-time central heating to homes across the Tees Valley.
The WHF is led by Stockton-on-Tees Borough (SBC) council and is working as part of a consortium with 4 other local authorities (Hartlepool, Darlington, Redcar and Cleveland, Middlesbrough). It is a £6.1 million fund, aimed at reducing fuel poverty across the Tees Valley.
The fund doesn’t only offer central heating systems. SBC is also working alongside the Citizens Advice Bureau, The Thirteen Group and Middlesbrough Environment City to give free energy advice, tariff switching and fuel vouchers. As well as general advice on other funding that may be available to each resident.
