ABC Counselling, Play Therapy & Family Solutions is a leading not-for-profit provider of Psychological Therapy Services. ABC works across the Tees Valley, delivering high -quality therapy interventions to Children, Young People & Families.
ABC is currently looking to recruit a High Intensity CBT trainee to undertake te Postgraduate Diploma in CBT course. The successful applicant will attend Northumbria University, starting in January 2026.
The postholder will provide a range of evidence-based psychological interventions for Children & Young People. The post-holder will work within the service providing high intensity interventions whilst undertaking a university-based programme.
In this role, you will:
- Deliver assessment, including risk assessment, of clients referred for therapy within Educational and Community settings.
- Identify and deliver a range of appropriate therapueitc inerventions in collaboration with the Child and Parents/Carers.
- Work in partnership with a wide range of partners, including providing advice and support to school staff and other professionals.

SALARY: £29,144
Hours: Flexible between 8:30am – 8pm on Weekdays.
Contract Length: 12 months fixed term
