The Additional Restrictions Grant (ARG) is a discretionary grant supporting businesses which are struggling to survive the nationally imposed restrictions resulting in a loss of trade and income due to the COVID-19 crisis.
The second round of this grant has now opened, and will apply to the national lockdown period 5 January – 15 February 2021.
The budget for this scheme is a single fixed allocation from the Government which will be insufficient to help all businesses impacted and therefore Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council are prioritising applications following agreed criteria.
The grant amount will vary depending on rateable value of premises as follows:
Rateable value of premises | Grant payment per 2 weeks |
£15,000 or under | £467 |
£15,001-£50,999 | £700 |
£51,000 or over | £1050 |
