One Awards is a Quality Assurance and Accreditation organisation working with learning providers in the North-East for over 25 years.
They are passionate about our mission to provide a flexible range of accreditation to support learners to achieve their goals in life and work.
They are currently collaborating with local partners to develop a campaign to promote the huge benefits of adult learning. From personal development to supporting positive social mobility, our products and services are designed to empower individuals to make a difference to their lives and to those around them. This campaign will be aimed primarily at promoting adult education to those in ethnic minority communities and to ex-offenders.
They want to show how lifelong learning can transform an individual’s life. They would like to use case studies of learners who have successfully completed their learning and promote these through traditional printed channels and through digital routes including social media.
They will be offering webinars on a variety of topics to providers, learners and anyone who supports those from ethnic communities and/or exoffenders. These include, among others, confidence building, personal development and information, advice and guidance sessions to help signpost learners to relevant courses.
They know what amazing work you do with learners in the region and so it would be great to have as many of you as possible involved in this. If you have any current or former learners from the ethnic minority community or ex-offenders who have completed learning with a One Awards or NOCN qualification or accreditation and are willing to take part, They’d love to hear from you!
