ARCH Teesside are looking for a passionate individual who works well as part of a team to join our independent, advocacy service. The successful candidate will have a passion for ensuring that our clients’ voices are heard within the criminal justice system and beyond, and will be a strong advocate that ensures they understand and can access their rights.
Working across Teesside, we have a vacant post within our Children & Young Peoples service for Children & Young Peoples Independent Sexual Violence Advisor. You will deliver a pro-active service by providing independent, expert, quality support to, predominantly, children and young people, but also, if required, to men and women who have been affected by sexual abuse within and outside the criminal justice system.
The successful candidate will have the skills and confidence to work closely with the Police, Crown Prosecution Service and other relevant agencies, the ideal candidate will have experience in providing one-to-one support, managing a busy caseload and will possess an excellent understanding of the impact of sexual violence.
