The next Call for Proposals to apply for AMIF funding for integration activities will be launched on Wednesday 9 January 2019.

This will be the initial opening of the Call. The UK AMIF Responsible Authority intends to run this Call in 3 separate tranches up to a final closing date of Wednesday 22 May 2019 at 16:00. However, whilst you may submit more than 1 application, you may only submit an application for each project concept once during the entire Call in which tranche 3 closes on 22 May 2019.

Proposals are invited for projects to be supported for a period of up to 36 months, and to finish by 31 December 2022. Proposals are invited from Devolved Administrations, Local and Regional Authorities, Education establishments, Voluntary and Community Organisations and Public bodies. Applications will not be accepted from individuals

The AMIF UK Responsible Authority are looking for projects which deliver activities to assist in the integration of Third Country Nationals (TCNs) at a national, regional and local level.

Projects to be funded should focus on the following activities to assist with integration:

  • Language training;
  • Civic orientation;
  • Preparation for employment training i.e. cv writing;
  • Mentoring;
  • Creation of online support facilities;
  • Employability skills;
  • Promotion of meaningful contact between TCNs and host society.

A maximum £50m is available to support projects under this Call. AMIF funding is available for up to 75% of the project costs. Organisations must be able to provide 25% match funding from their own sources, and cannot be from other EU funds.

The AMIF UK Responsible Authority will be running a series of workshops about the Call providing information on how to make an application for funding. Workshops will be held across the country as listed below but the UKRA reserve the right to add to or cancel these events subject to demand. Only 20 spaces will be available at each workshop and, initially, you may only request one space per prospective bidding organisation.

To book a space on a workshop you should e-mail AMIFCallforIntegration@homeoffice.gov.uk providing the name, e-mail address and organisation name for the person wishing to attend. The e-mail should also state which workshop you wish to attend and if you are vegan or gluten free. An e-mail will then be sent with further details and location of the workshop.

All successful applicants will need to ensure they can demonstrate that they are fully compliant with the requirements of the Data Protection Act 1998 and the new General Data Protection Regulation. Both these pieces of legislation will affect the way you store personal information for both monitoring and evaluation purposes.

Applications will be accepted in three separate tranches starting on 9 January 2019 with the final closing date for applications under this Call for Proposals being 16:00 on Wednesday 22 May 2019. Late applications will not be accepted under any circumstances.
