NECA Gambling Services, along with Gambling Related Harm Champions and the National Gambling Support Network have produced a newsletter with information on how organisations and individuals can help support those with gambling addictions.

North Death Cafe
Norton Library are hosting a “Death Cafe” on Monday 13th May from 9:30am – 11:30am as part of a worldwide movement towards more open discussions about death. Join us for tea, cakes and conversations.
Venue Space enquiry
The Deaf Empowering Network (EDN) is looking for a community space to accommodate a ‘deaf space’ for people travelling from surrounding areas. Ideally, this space will be on a bus route, and have access to a kitchen and a room to accommodate 15-25 people.

Pharmacy Updates
Prescription Charges will be increasing in May. Community Pharmacy England has produced leaflets detailing the changes and detailing ways in which people who pay for prescriptions can save money on repeat prescriptions.
As we have two Bank Holidays in May, there is a list of all the changes in operating hours for Pharmacies in the North East, which can be found HERE
