Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council Market Position Statement

Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council is committed to working closely with providers, stakeholders, and people who access our services to ensure engagement, particularly in relation to shaping the market together, is meaningful, timely and appropriate.

The Council has an Adults, Health and Wellbeing Market Position Statement (MPS) which brings together information about the local market so that the current and prospective providers understand the local context, what is likely to change and where opportunities might arise in the future. Specifically, it will help providers to identify opportunities that they may tender for; and develop their services to meet local needs and demand.

The aim of a MPS is to encourage commissioners, people who use services, carers and provider organisations to work together to explain what care and support is needed in the area and why. A MPS is the start, not the end point, of a process of market engagement. It is envisaged that the MPS will generate discussions , encourage new thinking and invite proposals for innovative service delivery.

The current MPS can be viewed HERE

We would welcome any feedback or comments about the MPS, please email any comments to Zoe.Flood@stockton.gov.uk by 30th April 2024

Universal Credit revised landing pages

New and revised landing pages have been developed on Gov. uk so that distinct groups of DWP customers can find the information they are looking for all in one place.

One benefit of the change is that people can subscribe to the pages which will automatically alert them if there are any changes.
