The Bereavement Journey

A 7 week course starting Monday 15th January – Stockton Parish Church.

Have you lost someone dear to you?

Bereavement can impact hugely and affect all areas of life.  The Bereavement Journey is for anyone who has been bereaved at any time and in any way.  It recognises that each grief and loss is unique.

The course is seven sessions based around a series of films and discussion groups.  It is held in a supportive atmosphere to guide people through the most common aspects of grief, enabling them to process their loss and discern next steps.  Given the reflection and sharing, it is only suitable for those whose bereavement was at least six months prior to starting the course.

The course was developed through Holy Trinity Church Brompton and has been delivered for over 25 years.

The next course starts on Monday 15th January, 7-9pm, at Stockton Parish Church.

If you are interested in being part of the course, you can register your interest here: https://spc.churchsuite.com/events/eklcr91e

The DIG-IT Project are introducing their virtual awareness event series for 2024.

If you’re interested in reducing digital poverty in the Tees Valley and weren’t able to join the DIG-IT project at one of their in-person events earlier this year, then we’d love for you to come along to one of three virtual events that they’re holding in January & February 2024!

We encourage everyone to come along, but in particular those in hard to reach and rural areas, who can only join such events virtually.

During each event, you will hear from the partners of the DIG-IT project funded by UKSPF through TVCA. Join Teesside University, furbdit from The Hope Foundation and Good Things Foundation to find out more about the exciting digital inclusion initiatives that are positively impacting local communities to reduce digital poverty both locally and nationally, and all about how you can collaborate or get involved. There will be opportunities to network and a Q&A session.

Please register for your preferred date by emailing info@thedigitalcity.com

Dates:

Event 1: Wednesday 17th January 1 – 2.30pm

Event 2: Thursday 25th January 11.30am – 1pm

Event 3: Tuesday 6th February 1 – 2.30pm
