St Cuthbert’s Church Spring Fayre

St Cuthbert’s Church in Billingham are hosting a Spring Fayre on Monday 27th May from 11am – 3pm. There will be plenty of activities for all ages, including tombolas, craft stalls, bouncy castles, face painting and more!

Child Safety Week

This year’s theme is ‘Safety, Sorted!’. There are steps you can take to ensure children are kept safe in your home. Our Family Hubs are here to help you. They offer free home safety sessions to help you keep your little ones safe. During Child Safety Week you can also take advantage of expert advice and support, and even come away with subsidised safety equipment like baby gates to make your home as safe as possible. There will also be a range of interactive displays on the door.

Sessions are being held on

  • Monday 3rd June: Thornaby Family Hub, 12:30pm – 2:30pm
  • Thursday 6 June: Redhill Family Hub 10am – 11:30am, also, Stockton Family Hub, 1pm – 2:30pm
  • Friday 7 June: Billingham Family Hub, 9:30am – 12 noon

Park Play

Park Play brings local communities together in parks and green spaces for two hours of free, informal games in the great outdoors every Saturday morning. You can now enjoy ParkPlay at 10am, every Saturday at John Whitehead Park and Ropner Park – just look for the ParkPlay flag!

Everyone’s invited, so bring a friend and come along, places are free but you must register to take part HERE

Premier League Kicks

MFC foundation will be kicking off the Premier League Kicks 19+ programme on June 12th at the home of Stockton Town Football Club (Stockton sixth form college). These weekly sessions will act as a support programme for social interaction, gaining employment and further life skills.

This programme will be a drop-in session for anyone aged 19 – 24 and will include qualifications, tournaments, guest speakers and a guaranteed interview at Middlesbrough Football Club to work within the match day activities (hospitality, stewards etc.) The sessions are completely free of charge and all participants who attend the first session will receive a complementary ticket for Middlesbrough Football Club’s first HOME game of the 2024/25 season.
