What can we learn from ants?
Have you ever wondered how these tiny creatures complete impressive tasks and create order, seemingly without communication? Join Dr Elva Robinson, Senior Lecturer in Ecology at York University, on Zoom to find out about ants’ rules governing social behaviour and interaction with the environment.
Sadly, but understandably, we can’t meet at ARC for our scheduled talk on 16.6.20 at 8:00pm, but we’re delighted to announce that our June speaker, Dr Elva Robinson, will give her presentation via a Zoom Webinar.
We will put out more details about how to join the meeting nearer the time.
We are very grateful to Dr Robinson who is working with us to make sure you can still get to hear and see her lecture, despite the restrictions. We expect the format will be the same, an introduction from the chair of the meeting, a presentation and questions and answers. The difference will be that you can use the ‘chat’ facility on Zoom to ask your questions.
