The Community Hub was set up in response to COVID -19 and has been responsible for the day-to-day operation of services through the Community Hub.

The Hub has been staffed (9am – 12noon Monday – Friday) by volunteers who take calls from those who were on the Critically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) list produced by the government. Members of the public who are unable to shop for themselves, collect prescriptions, struggled to walk their dog or in need of a food parcel. In the height of the Lockdowns we were able to help an incredible amount of people who would have otherwise been stuck and this is all thanks to our very dedicated team of Volunteers. It was wonderful to be able to join with others across Stockton to help those in our communities that needed during very testing times.

As we move forward and out of Lock-down we head into a similar service providing support for those in our communities who have COVID or have been in contact with some with COVID and need to self-isolate. We’re also starting to offer additional services and continue to welcome applications from those wishing to volunteer to help us provide these services. For more details please contact Community Hub Co-ordinator.
