The coronavirus (COVID-19) situation has impacted the whole of society and in response, Catalyst has developed a ‘COVID Community Support Team’.

Our team is spearheading a major push to go out into communities to help people including those most vulnerable and the elderly.

Do you need help?

The Covid Community Support Team are here to help you through the coronavirus pandemic. If you are at staying at home because you are vulnerable or self-isolating then we can help with:

  • Shopping
  • Providing essential food supplies
  • Collecting up prescriptions
  • Walking or taking care of pets
  • Listening on the phone and giving emotional support
  • Sign posting you to places that can provide advice and guidance
  • Other practical help – let us know what you need and we’ll try to help.

We have an army of volunteers and brilliant voluntary, community and social enterprise organisations who are here to help and here at Catalyst we are determined to make it easy for you to get the help you need. Support for energy customers impacted by COVID-19

There has been an agreement reached between the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy and domestic energy supply companies setting out principles to support energy customers impacted by COVID-19. This is known as the BEIS / domestic energy supply companies: agreement.

Here is a list of the energy companies and contact details for your reference. If you are a family self-isolating and on a credit/smart meter, you can contact your supplier if you are running out of credit so they can support you appropriately.
