The Day of the Dead event will host a range of stalls from various support services who can give advice and information to our local community on getting back into work and support available to them to overcome barriers they may face surrounding employment.

Stockton Brough Council would like to invite you to host a stall at to Billingham Community Centres 60th birthday celebration Day of the Dead hosted by their Routes to Work project. This will be a fantastic networking opportunity to further promote your services to the wider community and other referral agencies. Lunch is also provided.

Their Halloween themed Routes to Work celebration will take place on –

Date: Wednesday 31st October
Time: The event commences at 11.30m concluding at approx. 1.30pm
Location: Billingham Community Centre, The Causeway, Billingham, TS23 2DA.

The Day of the Dead event will host a range of stalls from various support services who can give advice and information to our local community on getting back into work and support available to them to overcome barriers they may face surrounding employment.

The event will consist of;

  • Have a go taster sessions including cake decorating or 3D Printing
  • Information about our Employability Skills course Fast Forward, where you can learn real skills to help you get back into work including Beginners IT and CV writing
  • Tutor discussions about courses such as Amazing You and Manmade which teach cookery, carpentry amongst many other skills

And it wouldn’t be a Halloween event without some apple bobbing and a few toffee apples!

Feeling brave? ….. join in the ghost walk around the building and explore the history behind Billingham Community Centre

There’ll also be a prize for the best adult and best children’s Halloween themed costume, so don’t forget your spookiest outfits.
