TRAC is seeking to recruit individuals who will have the spare time, desire and expertise to help them drive their vision forward and reach even more people.

They are a peer led independent advocacy service for individuals who have been cast aside by society due to their mental health or substance misuse issues. They have proved a need in our local area and they believe that with the correct advice and guidance these individuals can move forward and have meaningful lives. They are at a pinnacle point in our mission and a looking for passionate individuals to aid our development.

They would like to talk to you if you have previous experience of sitting on a board, being a trustee, come from a financial/ bid writing background, business development, HR background and marketing background. If you have the time to sit at three out of four quarterly meetings and are readily available to offer advice and guidance that will enable them to develop into the charity they know they can be.

The role of the director will be to work on a voluntary basis to provide governance and hands on support in one of the following:

  • Fundraising particularly helping by assessing funding bids, assist in identifying new funding streams
  • Business promotion to access a greater client group
  • Governance and knowledge of the local landscape
  • Legal/ HR/ Finance to ensure a flawless operation
  • Secretarial skills

They would expect their directors to promote the charity and Community interest company in a positive way and raise their profile by making and maintaining relationships where needed.
