The Annual Catalyst Conference is the chance for VCSE organisations in the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees to come together to discuss issues, network and learn more about what is happening. Our Conference & Workshops are 9am till 1pm with Awards 2pm-4pm, registration open from 8:40am.

This year’s conference theme is ‘Insight into the VCSE sector in Stockton’. As such, we welcome several local VCSEs from different sectors to the stage, bringing an interactive element using a live and interactive polling tool through your smartphone. We also welcome Mike Greene, CEO, Stockton Borough Council as a keynote speaker. A key focus is to generate a deeper understanding of the VCSE sector as a collective both here in the Stockton Borough but also drawing on North East insights.

There will be workshops, networking and stalls from VCSE and partner organisations from across Stockton-on-Tees. Tea, coffee, and lunch are provided.

The year our workshops will be discussing the following topics:

• ‘A Journey Through Transition’ delivered by Hart Gables.

• ‘Meet The Funders’ including The National Lottery and other regional funders.

• ‘Stockton Borough Council Services that benefit VCSE’s’ including Direct Payments & Stockton Information Directory presentations.

The day will end with the presentation of our Catalyst Impact Awards 2023. Ten Awards will be presented to individuals and organisations who have supported their communities throughout the last 12 months.
