Rhymetime sessions at our libraries were always popular and we are delighted to bringing a fun and lively 20 minute session online, starting from Wednesday 31 March.

The Tinderbox by Hans Christian Andersen

We are celebrating the birthday of Hans Christian Andersen this International Children’s Book Day. Listen as Thornaby Central Library’s Ivan re-tells ‘The Tinderbox’ a literary fairy tale by Hans Christian Andersen about a soldier who acquires a magic tinderbox capable of summoning three powerful dogs to do his bidding.
