Third sector and statutory organisations such as town, parish or community councils can apply for grants of between £3,000 and £20,000 to deliver extra sessions or to expand existing sessions in youth clubs in England, with the aim of reaching more young people.
The grant can be used to cover costs such as:
- Equipment.
- One-off events.
- Staff costs.
- Training costs.
- Transport.
- Utilities/core running costs.
- Volunteer expenses.
Successful organisations will receive the funding within two weeks of the application closing date and must spend the grant before 31 March 2020.
The application window is open for a short time only, until 11 February 2020 (5pm). Organisations are advised to apply as soon as possible, as the Fund will close for applications early if demand is high.
