Give money
Although some private sector organisations tell us they don’t like to be approached by charities asking for money, others see this as the best way for them to make a meaningful contribution.
If your company prefers to support the VCSE in this way, we can give advice on where your money can make a big difference in our Borough. Catalyst can act as an intermediary, connecting you directly with VCSE organisations looking for financial support or manage the whole process to distribute funding across the sector.
Where companies have a clear idea on what they would like their money to achieve or contribute towards eg: work to support food banks, we can set criteria for the VCSE organisations who apply to us for a share of the funding. This ensure the money you wish to give, can go to the type of work and causes you wish to support.
Please see below opportunities for donating.

Can you or your business help bring much needed food into Stockton homes this Christmas?
Local food groups, like community pantries, are experiencing up to 20-30% shortfalls in food donations. Stockton Food Power Network (SFPN) is reaching out to individuals and businesses, to support our network of foodbanks and community pantries in the lead up to the festive period.
We aim to raise £500 to be used to buy additional food to boost stocks at these vital community venues to help more households have a happy and healthy holiday period.

Getting community transport on the road
Would you like to donate to help some of the most isolated people in our Borough to have fair access to support and social activities? A lack of reliable, accessible transport is increasingly a barrier to those in our communities benefitting from the brilliant services available and we’d love to do something about it. Stockton on Tees Borough Council have already committed to providing half of what’s needed to (£17.5k) to setting up a volunteer-led community transport service for one year and we need your help to raise the rest. If you or your business can help, please donate.
