Round 2 applications are now open and close on the 18th of August 2023. Decisions will be made by the 20th of October 2023.
The Community Hubs Programme directs a share of the profits generated by Greggs Outlets directly back into the local area in which they are based. In 2022, there were 30 Greggs Outlets with the plan to reach 50 by 2025 as part of the Greggs Pledge to build stronger, healthier communities and support those most in need. By selling unsold, day-old food products at a reduced price, families on a tight budget can spend less while still having access to great quality food. A portion of the profits from all Greggs Outlets is donated to fund charitable organisations in the close vicinity of an Outlet. Eligible organisations can apply to receive core funding support from the Community Hubs programme.
Eligible organisations can receive a Community Hub grant of £20,000 for a single year, with options to extend funding depending on circumstances.
