Pioneering Care Centre is looking for an organised and enthusiastic team player to join our successful team to deliver outreach activities and events throughout County Durham.
Scale/Salary: PCP Band 3 £17,957 per annum, pro rata
Hours: 22 hours per week
Fixed Term: Until 30th June 2019
Job Purpose: To deliver outreach activities and events throughout County Durham to raise awareness of Healthwatch County Durham and promote our services.
Key tasks: Planning and attending community outreach events and activities. Promoting Healthwatch to members of the public and supporting engagement volunteers during outreach activities. Working with the team and board to deliver the outreach strategy and build the membership of Healthwatch County Durham.
Key skills required: Excellent communication and people skills, an interest in supporting volunteers and a real desire to work as part of a team. Good organisation skills and willingness to travel around County Durham with a positive and flexible approach.
