This role is to improve the experience of cancer patients by increasing patient participation and strengthening the network of patient/carer groups in the North East and North Cumbria, within the context of good collaboration.
To be the ‘face’ of Northern Cancer Voices and be passionate about continuous service improvement to achieve high quality care and to identify opportunities to promote the voice of cancer patients and their carers to help achieve this.
To ensure patients and carers can confidently make their views known and trust that Northern Cancer Voices will represent their views accurately by understanding concerns and helping build solutions.
To be responsible for supporting volunteers, planning and facilitating meetings, pre- and post- engagement briefings and liaison with the Northern Cancer Alliance as required. You will have a very clear responsibility for ensuring that engagement with Northern Cancer Voices is meaningful and
useful, and that groups/agencies are supported to engage effectively about their priorities and planning with NCV.

the whole organisation.
