The King’s Birthday Honours for 2025 have been announced, over 15 amazing individuals from Teesside were awarded an honour.
We would like to say a special congratulations to former Catalyst staff member, Ben Chisanga, for being awarded an MBE for services to unaccompanied asylum-seeking children. Ben was with Catalyst from February 2020 to August 2021 before leaving for a new role in Redcar and Cleveland Borough Council as an Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children Social Worker.
Ben has always worked in youth services, and his passion for the sector is clear to anyone who has met Ben, and it’s wonderful to see his hard work and dedication being honoured in this major way.
We would also like to extend congratulations to Sally Robinson, former chair of Hartlepool & Stockton Safeguarding Children’s Partnership (HSSCP,) for receiving a CBE for services to children. As members of HSSCP, we at Catalyst know how passionate Sally is about making sure all children in the Borough feel safe, secure and protected from harm.
