This programme is for small and local charities with an income between £25,000 to £500,000 which are led by and working with d/Deaf and Disabled people who are experiencing poverty. Organisations can apply for a three year unrestricted grant of £75,000.

It’s aimed at registered charities led by and working with d/Deaf and Disabled people who are experiencing poverty. By this, we mean you will be led by and working with people who have a physical or mental impairment that has a ‘substantial’ and ‘long term’ impact on their lives, as defined under the Equality Act 2010.

Your organisation will:

  • be led by the communities you serve
  • provide advice and/or advocacy on social security
  • deliver services that meet the individual needs of the Disabled people you support.

To check if you are eligible for this funding, please read the guidance below or in the guidance document here. You can also download Easy Read and large print versions of this document.

If you are still unsure about our eligibility requirements, take a simple and quick quiz on the website here.
