Amjid regularly attends SACRE meets in his native Middlesbrough, supports mosque open days and community cohesion events and has also created exhibitions based on ‘Islamic Awareness’ and on the ‘Civilisations’ series as seen on the BBC and made in conjunction with the British Library in 2018.
