The primary focus of this role is to work with young people working with the Actes Young Persons Engagement Officer and partners to promote, identify, recruit, train and provide support to young Eco-Champions Peer Mentor volunteers. In addition, the role will also support the activity of working with wider communities on the Climate Action Agenda. This role is fixed term until March 2025 and is subject to a DBS check.

Actes is part of an exciting partnership with Middlesbrough Environment City, Tees Valley Wildlife Trust, Link and The Other Perspective to deliver Climate Action Middlesbrough, an initiative aimed to engage Middlesbrough’s communities in taking action to address the climate crisis.

Salary: £21,000 p/a
Hours: 37 Hours a week
