Since 2017, ARC has been working closely with Stockton Borough Council (SBC) to ensure care-experienced children and young people have the opportunity to engage with creative and cultural activity.
This has involved taking a youth-led approach, but also working with adults in their lives, supporting artists and practitioners to develop their skills and reflect on our own ways of working, and how they could adapt them to increase engagement.
The development of this model was supported by Culture Bridge North East, and carried out in partnership with Blue Cabin CIC. ARC is very pleased to share the summary report from the first two years, which you can view or download HERE
ARC and SBC continue to work together to deliver activity under the banner ‘More Stuff Like This Please’ and their first post-COVID MSLTP activities will restart soon. They are very excited to be welcoming care-experienced young people back to ARC.
