Multiply is a Government-funded initiative which aims to improve the numerical skills of people, focusing on those who have been out of work for a long time. However, the only criteria to engage in Tees Valley is that participants should be 19+ and residents of Tees Valley. Hartlepool Borough Council (HBC) is the lead body and sub-contracts to VCSE partners, who are invited to deliver short, fun activities (2 hours) to engage people in the programme. Organisations receive £120 per participant. The activities which have been delivered so far have included cooking workshops, growing and other creative activities, with a focus on fun and an element of maths.

This funding opportunity is initially for the period to 31st March 2025 and focuses on the delivery of Outreach Focussed/Bitesize Activities. You will find a full overview of the opportunity and the expected delivery requirements within the attached documentation:

All applications must be submitted to by 4pm on Friday 19th April 2024. HBC aim to notify applicants of their decisions W/C 29th April 2024 and applications will be scored in line with the weightings within the attached Application Form.
