The National Lottery Community Fund has funded a programme which includes a focus on the North East. Civil Society Consulting CIC (CSC) is a non-profit dedicated to advancing health, equality, and social solidarity in supporting UK society.
It is delivering Nurturing Grassroots, a fully funded three-year capacity-building programme for grassroots organisations and Community Interest Companies. Over three years, 120 organisations across the North East can sign up to receive tailored guidance in four cohorts to strengthen governance, fundraising, impact measurement and sustainability.
What’s included?
- Tailored one-to-one support to co-produce tangible outcomes such as funding applications, impact reports, or refreshed websites.
- Expert-led group workshops covering the incoming generation, theory of change, masterclasses, gatherings, website and comms development
- Leadership & Wellbeing Coaching will provide 24 social action leaders with up to six individual one-hour sessions with a professional leadership coach.
The programme is based on co-production, with the belief that groups and community leaders are the experts in their communities and the change they want to see. CSC will work alongside you as a critical friend to support.
To sign up, CSC ask groups to complete a baseline survey and co-production values statement. After which, they will get in touch to advance.
