What they are asking for?
Stockton Council would love individuals or groups of residents to help. Do you have a spare hour to pick up some litter? What about that planter in your street, could you help to clear weeds and debris? Any help would be really appreciated.
What do you need?
Stockton Borough Council will provide gloves and litter pickers, all you need is some warm clothing.
Why are they doing this?
This day is the first of many events in Stockton and Thornaby. The aim is to improve your community by bringing together all the services and community in a coordinated manner. You have told us that litter, fly tipping, crime and graffiti is a problem in Thornaby, we want to address these problems and we need your help to do it.
