Daisy Chain is a well-known and established charity in Tees Valley specialising in helping families affected by autism. They believe that Daisy Chain makes a demonstrable, significant and sustainable difference to the lives of hundreds of families across the Tees Valley.

Fundraising is a vitally important part of the work at Daisy Chain to ensure they generate the funds they need to continue their work.

Daisy Chain currently has two job vacancies with their fundraising team:

Community Fundraiser Co-ordinator

Salary: £18,360 – £21,000 per annum (Permanent)
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 5 days out of 7(working evenings and weekends as required)

Daisy Chain is looking to appoint a Community Fundraiser Co-ordinator to work within the Fundraising Team to develop and increase the income raised through our local community engagement. With excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach, the post holder will be tasked with increasing donations from new and existing supporters, whilst developing the strategy for further engagement through new contacts, events and activities.

The successful candidate will have experience in fundraising or a role with similar skills, and will need to demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm, initiative and flexibility in their approach. You must be able to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis, have a full driving license and own transport.

The successful candidate will be required to apply for a Disclosure & Barring Service Enhanced Disclosure.

Community Fundraiser

Salary: £8.21 – £10 per hour (depending on experience) Permanent
Hours: 16 hours per week, working evenings and weekends as required

With excellent interpersonal skills and a proactive approach, the post holder will be tasked with increasing donations from new and existing supporters through external stalls/events in the community, collection tubs and individual supporters.

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in fundraising or a role with similar skills, and will need to demonstrate commitment, enthusiasm, initiative and flexibility in their approach. You must be able to work evenings and weekends on a regular basis, have a full driving license and own transport.
