Project Coordinator (Holiday Activities)

Location: Combination of office working and home working, as require

Salary: £24,000 per annum

Hours per week: 37.5 per week

Role details:

The Project Coordinator (PC) is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation and execution of specific projects ensuring consistency with Catalyst Business Plan, commitments and goals. The post holder will work closely with the Strategic Programmes Manager (SPM) as well as other Catalyst staff/volunteers to co-ordinate interrelated project activity.

The Holiday Activity and Food programme funded by Dfe, alongside the Holiday Enrichment Programme, funded by Stockton Borough Council, Public health enables young people to access enriching activities and nutritious food during school holidays. There is a focus on young people in receipt of free school meals.

Tasks & Responsibilities

Working with the Holiday Activity and Food programmes

  • Provide Operational management
  • Set up provider engagement events
  • Provide support to HEP/HAF providers including regular updates
  • Map current provision and identify new providers
  • Contribute to HEP and HAF steering group meetings with Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and others
  • Work with SPM to ensure all documentation processes and timelines are in place
  • Ensure all due diligence for providers and stakeholders is in place
  • Monitor and evaluate outcomes and impact of the programme
  • Set up Provider Panel meetings
  • Issuing and monitoring contracts with SPM
  • Work with Marketing and Communications Officer to promote and market projects
  • Prepare written responses to routine enquiries
  • Prepare agendas for meetings and prepare schedules
  • Minute taking
  • Attend relevant meetings with commissioners and others

Managing Self

  • Participate in regular supervision.
  • Attend all mandatory training.
  • Comply with all policies, procedures and protocols.
  • Pay regard to materials and equipment.
  • Carry out duties with due regard to the Equal Opportunity Policy.
  • Seek advice and support from the CE, other colleagues whenever necessary.
