The Royal National Institute of Blind People (RNIB) is inviting individuals with experience related to sight loss to participate in discussions about the future of their personal transcription service, which converts documents into accessible formats.
As someone with lived experience, or a close connection to sight loss, you can help the RNIB to understand what people need and how the RNIB can best support them. The RNIB want your help to shape what comes next.
The RNIB want to explore:
- What people need from transcription services today
- How people manage their needs outside of the RNIB’s services.
- What role should the RNIB play in the future.
The RNIB are holding three virtual meetings each month in July, August and September, and ideally, you would be able to attend all meetings, which we expect to last up to two hours.
If you would like to get involved, please complete this Online Form by Wednesday, 2nd July 2025.
