Routes to Work is a DWP project funded which aims to support people aged 30+ who have been unemployed for either 2 years + or 13 weeks with barriers towards employment (e.g. homelessness, financial barriers, single parent, offending behaviour, substance misuse, 50 + and such like).
All clients will receive a cocktail of support which is completely bespoke to their needs.
Support available includes, but is not restricted to the following;
- 1-1 keyworker
- Welfare assistance
- CV Writing/update
- Supported jobs search
- Access to ‘hidden jobs market’
- Information, advice and guidance
- Access to further education
- Digital workshops
- Funding to overcome barriers to employment
- Access to Motivational grooming, cut and blow dry’s
- Access to gym, swimming and fitness classes
- Wage incentives to employers
- Access to paid work experience
- Access to specialised training including HGV, CSCS, Café Experience, Access to customer service and such like
- Dedicated Employment advisor
- Mentor support/navigation
- Support to secure/ sustain accommodation and life skills
- And so much more …..
