Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Community Safety Select Committee is conducting a Scrutiny Review of the Community Transport (CPB) and Ward Transport (WTB) Budgets. This review aims to:
- Understand the scope of interventions that are eligible through these two budget schemes
- Establish the effectiveness of these two budgets and whether projects funded through them have had a genuine and sustained impact
- Ascertain the communication of both budgets to Ward Councillors and wider public awareness
- Consider the value of the budgets in the context of significant ongoing budget pressures for the Council
An important part of this work is to seek an understanding of these two budget schemes from a resident’s perspective. The committee has put together a survey to gather residents’ views and opinions. Please be assured, this is completely anonymous.
