Exciting SIRF opportunity for Stockton Volunteers’

We’re delighted that Stockton Volunteers have been invited to be part of the Stockton International Riverside Festival again for 2023.

Last year around 20 volunteers from across the Borough took part in the carnival parade to raise the profile of volunteering and encourage others to consider giving it a go.

This year we have been allocated an artist who will work with us across 2 sessions to make costumes and accessories to help us look the part!

We need as many volunteers as possible to join us at the craft workshops, making the outfits and also on the day to walk as part of the parade. Please see below for details of all dates:

Costume making sessions:

Wednesday 28th June- 10am-2pm
Thursday 13th July- 3pm-6pm
Venue- Wellington square

SIRF Carnival Parade:

Sunday 6th August- 12pm-3.30pm

Volunteers are welcome to attend either or both of the costume making sessions and also take part in the parade. If anyone would like to take part in just one of the costume making sessions or just the parade but as many people as possible being involved in both would be brilliant.

If a group of your volunteers are interested getting involved, please contact  Lucy Owens at lucy.owens@catalyststockton.org or on 07949318143 as soon as possible to book your place.
