Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council’s Market Position Statement (MPS) sets out the current and future landscape of Adult Social Care across the Borough. It outlines the Council’s strategic vision, helping people access the right support at the right time, maximising independence, and strengthening community connections while providing information to providers and partners about local needs, priorities, and opportunities.
The MPS brings together key information on demographics, demand, workforce trends, and upcoming commissioning intentions so current and prospective providers can understand the local context and plan services to align with the Council’s ambitions.
The MPS emphasises co-production, partnership working, and a commitment to prevention, resilience, and person-centred care, reflecting the wider Adult Social Care Strategy and the Council’s goal of creating connected, safe, and fulfilling lives for residents across the Borough.
