Stockton Public Health Team is currently reviewing the local stop smoking service. They have organised a Stop Smoking Service Design Workshop with the aim of engaging key partners, in order to gain a greater understanding of the support / incentives required to help smokers to quit. Your insight would be valued to support the design and development of the Specialist Stop Smoking Service.
Currently, a stop smoking advisor provides behaviour support and prescribes stop smoking medication to smokers. Smokers are able to access the service via drop-in sessions or 1:1s, provided at various times and venues across Stockton-on-Tees.
The workshop will look below areas:
a. The referral route and promoting ease of access to medication and Stop Smoking Services
b. The support professional stakeholders think smokers need
c. Strengths and weaknesses of our current service
d. What role may incentives have in encouraging smokers to quit
Public Health are holding a number of 30 minutes workshops on Wednesday 20th March. You can book a slot using the link below.
