Daisy Chain is looking to appoint a dynamic and inspiring retail professional to take on a newly created role as Superstore Manager. The main purpose of the role is to lead their team at our very busy Portrack Lane Superstore. The post holder will be working within a very busy retail environment, working with a diverse and supportive team and a large amount of donated goods to maximise sales and net contribution.
There will also be a requirement to support the Head of Development & Economic Generation in developing the Retail strategy and support superstore staff in delivering an effective and efficient service. As a strong communicator, the post holder will build and maintain positive working relationships with a variety of people and stakeholders as well as have a good knowledge of issues relating to recruiting and retaining volunteers.
Daisy Chain is looking for an individual who is highly self-motivated, positive and resilient as well as previous retail and people management experience. Experience of working to targets and KPI’s within a retail environment is essential.
Due to this post being based at our Superstore the post holder must have the ability to work weekends including Sundays as required, and will require a DBS enhanced check.
