Last week saw the Government bring shielding to an end and those previously identified as being Clinically Extremely Vulnerable (CEV) issued guidance getting back out as safely as possible. The latest guidance for people previously CEV will have received individual letters and the guidance can be viewed HERE.
We understand that people may remain cautious and the Covid Community Hub will be here to provide short-term support as needed for those who need time to rebuild their confidence in getting out and about.
Our volunteers are keen to help and we will consider support needs on an individual basis and refer people on to partner organisations when their support may be more appropriate. Our aim is to help people work towards regaining their independence and will work with you on the best way to try and achieve this.
The full Covid Community Hub support for shopping and prescriptions remains available to those individuals who have been instructed to self-isolate by Test and Trace.
We are here to help those who should be staying at home to prevent the spread of COVID 19 to do so and our phone lines are open as usual, 9am-12pm Monday to Friday. If you have been instructed to self-isolate and need help with shopping or collecting prescriptions just call us on 01642 733906.
